was also entered for yesterday's Stub handicap. He will finally make a start in a much easier spot. This gelding is doing very nice and his trainer, Dan Hendricks, seems very confident. He's in top form as he's training very nice for today's try. Nice odds are expected and let's take a shot.

was a big winner in his last. He seems to be doing very well in his new barn and will likely move forward out of his last win. He's doing very nice off the layoff. He must be ready for another big effort as Mike Smith stays for the re-ride.

| #9 Spurrier |
will be the one to beat in this spot. He's doing extremely well as Bob Baffert has this horse in top form for today's try. He exits a Grade 2 race and has the right to run much better at this level. Joel Rosario stays for the re-ride.

| #10 Skellytown |
was a nice winner in his last. He will be facing a much tougher field but we still like his chances as Richard Mandella seems very confident. This gelding will also move forward. Victor Espinoza will ride again for Mandella.
